Admissions Process
at Reclaim Healing Center

At Reclaim Healing Center, our admissions process is designed to make starting mental health treatment feel clear, supportive, and approachable from the very beginning.

We understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, especially during emotionally difficult moments. Our team is here to guide individuals and families through each step of the process with compassion, professionalism, and personalized support.

Your First Conversation

Your First Conversation

The admissions process typically begins with a confidential conversation with a member of our admissions team.

During this initial call, we take time to better understand:

  • Current mental health concerns
  • Symptoms and emotional challenges
  • Previous treatment experiences
  • Current support needs
  • Questions about programs and services

This conversation also gives individuals and families the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about treatment options, and better understand what to expect moving forward.

Mental health intake conversations and assessments are commonly used to help determine the most appropriate level of care and treatment planning.

Clinical Assessment and Evaluation

After the initial intake conversation, a clinical assessment may be scheduled to help our team better understand each individual’s needs and treatment goals.

Assessments may include discussion of:

  • Mental health history
  • Current symptoms and emotional concerns
  • Daily functioning and stressors
  • Treatment goals and recovery needs
  • Previous therapy or psychiatric care
  • Family and support system information

Clinical assessments are designed to help determine the most appropriate level of care, whether PHP, IOP, or outpatient treatment.

Insurance Verification

Insurance verification may include reviewing:

  • Behavioral health benefits
  • Outpatient mental health coverage
  • Program eligibility requirements
  • Authorization or approval needs
  • Deductibles and copayment information

Insurance verification is commonly completed before treatment begins to help reduce delays and clarify available coverage.

Please note: Reclaim Healing Center does not accept Medi Cal or Medicare at this time.

Determining the Right Level of Care

Every individual’s needs are different, which is why treatment recommendations are personalized based on clinical assessment, daily functioning, symptom severity, and support needs.

Depending on the situation, individuals may be recommended for:

Partial Hospitalization Program PHP
Intensive Outpatient Program IOP
Outpatient Mental Health Program

Scheduling and Beginning Treatment

Once the admissions process is completed and treatment recommendations are finalized, our team works to coordinate scheduling and next steps as efficiently as possible.

Whenever appropriate and based on availability, same day assessments may be available to help individuals begin care quickly. Prompt mental health evaluations can help reduce delays in treatment planning and access to support.

Our admissions team remains available throughout the process to answer questions, provide guidance, and help individuals feel supported as they begin treatment.
